Brief job description:

Estio Training has an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Assistant with OHEAP fire and security, a Fire Protection and Health Safety industry based in Derby. Due to exceptional growth, we’re now looking to expand our Digital Development & Marketing Department.

Job Description:

We’re looking for an outgoing, passionate, and eager individual who is looking to take their next (or first) step in their marketing career. Previous marketing experience isn’t necessary but enthusiasm and passion for it is. Working as part of a highly versatile team the focus of your role will be to support the various brands within the OHEAP family through marketing activity. This may include:

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Creating content for and managing social media accounts
• Creating, sending, and reporting on email marketing campaigns
• Writing website and blog content adhering to SEO best practises
• Coordinating the monthly company newsletter
• Capturing marketing leads within our CRM system
• You will also be required to support other departments with varying tasks such as order processing and data entry during periods of high volume or to cover staff absences.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

• Previous marketing experience
• Experience with Photoshop or similar
• Experience using social media in a professional capacity
• An understanding of SEO
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced office environment
• High standard of written English
• Technologically savvy
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and similar

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer, with training in how to:

• Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels including your website and social media.
• Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate the channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
• Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
