Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice Digital Support Technician with England Netball based in Loughborough.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Software Support Apprentice to be part of our Tech Team, who make sure that all our systems are running smoothly.
We are looking for someone at the start of their tech career. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop. As well as learning on the job we are offering a Digital Support Technician Apprentice Level 3 qualification.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- You will be the person solving the IT issues for our staff and membership. Responding to issues raised through the system and either resolving or reporting to our software suppliers.
- Be part of the team that helps with test fixes and updates to our software, giving feedback to our suppliers so we can improve our systems.
- Create and main system user guides, process maps and provide system training to staff.
- Help to provide feedback on the types of issues raised by staff, to support better training and understanding of systems.
- Regular monitoring of our IT helpdesk queries, making sure our staff get support in a timely manner and are kept updated on the progress of solutions.
- Be the person that makes sure the new staff have the correct IT equipment on time and know how to use it.
- Continuously learn new features in our systems and Software.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required:
- Good written and spoken communication skills and comfortable presenting information to others.
- Eye for detail and ability to work within processes.
- Good general knowledge of IT.
- Ability to work with staff and suppliers on a day-to -day basis.
- Ability to explain technical information in a simple and easy to understand way.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly.
Personal qualities:
- Ability to remain calm under pressure when you might not have answers straight away.
- Have a curious mind, with a passion to learn about systems and new technology.
- Knowledge of England Netball membership platform or membership game management tools.
- Experience or understanding of user acceptance testing.
- Experience working on a support desk.
- Background working in IT, Systems or Data.
- IT related certifications or equivalent.

Training to be provided:
