Carbon Reduction Plan

BPP Education Group is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

In the creation of our Carbon Reduction Plans, we have:

• measured the carbon impact of every aspect within BPP’s operation and supply chain that has a material impact on the environment
• heightened collaboration across multiple BPP teams including Facilities and Building Operations, Learning Media, IT Operations and Environmental, which has granted us a fuller view of our environmental picture than ever before

Guided by data, we have identified core initiatives and processes for carbon reduction. These give us confidence and strategic direction.

We will publish a revised plan every year. We commit to publicly retaining previous versions of this plan, so that we can hold ourselves accountable for the steps we are taking.

Our Carbon Reduction Plans have been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by our board of directors, and the initiatives we detail have been integrated into the way we work.
