Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Social Media Executive & Content Creator with Yorkshire Food Guide a Digital Marketing Company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Social Media Executive & Content Creator to join the team to support the delivery of brand storytelling, client video campaigns, social media management and drive growth of our audience across our social media platforms – mainly Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.

• Create and deliver on brand and engaging original content for our social media platforms including UGC, competitions, reels, video and stills.
• Presenting/voiceover on reels when required.
• Stay up to date with social algorithms and updates.
• Completing monthly reporting, analysing insights and implementing any required changes.
• Community management, ensuring our audience are engaged with and the social DM’s are monitored and answered.
• Captions, packaging, scheduling and publishing social content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and Threads.
• Creating and editing video content to fit each social platform.
• Keep social media content calendar up to date to fit paid and unpaid. campaigns and overall content calendar.
• Facebook, Instagram and/or TikTok Shop management.

Opportunities to:

• Learn how to add content to YFG’s website, making sure it is SEO optimised.
• Curating emails and learning the process.
• Creating and sending app push notifications.

Qualifications:

Essential:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Desirable:

Completed courses in journalism, social media, digital marketing, content creation, videography, photography.

Skills Required:

Essential:

• Ability to write short form engaging content.

• Created social videos for other brands/grown own personal channel.
• A strong interest in food and drink.
• Passion for social media management and content creation.
• A good design eye and skilled in creating UGC videos.
• Good video editing skills and some experience with photo and video editing software.

Desirable:

• Examples of social videos you have presented/voiceover.
• Driving license and access to a car.
• Ability to write long form content e.g. may have written articles/reviews for other publications/have your own blog.
• Use of Facebook, Instagram and/or TikTok Shop

Personal qualities:

• Great communication skills, written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills.
• Confident in sharing and delivering new and fresh ideas.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.

• Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies.
• Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.
• Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms.
• Develop, understand, and apply marketing briefs and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand consistency.
