      Brief job description:

      Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a QA Tester with Paystream a Financial Services company based in Altrincham.

      Job Description:

      The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the ongoing quality of the Tifo product by performing necessary tests for new feature development and general version releases.

      Working closely with the QA Senior core Duties include identifying whether outputs from the development team are functional, reliable and meet the end user’s expectations.

      A commitment to quality and best user experience is fundamental to this role and the successful applicant will be analytical, diligent and able to communicate findings clearly and comprehensively to ensure feedback loops are efficient and effective.

      Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

      • Review system specifications and identify functional gaps or issues.
      • Create and maintain test plans and scripts.
      • Execute test scripts and review results .
      • Clearly and concisely report defects and bugs.
      • Create and execute functional and regression tests.
      • Use GitLab for bug and feature tracking.

      • Work closely with the Senior QA to identify and implement most efficient and effective testing approaches.

      Qualifications:

      • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

      Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 4 Software Tester, with training in how to:

      • Ensure that the software used within your business operates as intended.
      • Design and prepare test plans and conduct software testing as appropriate to ensure your software is fit for purpose.
      • Collect and interpret the results of testing and make appropriate recommendations.
      • Understand the software lifecycle and apply software development practices.
      • Document and report test results.
      • Store, manage and share test data in a secure manner
