Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Data Technician Apprentice with Alexis Filters, a Filtration company based in Melton, North Ferriby.
Data Compilation and Uploading:
- Collect data from various sources and synthesize it into comprehensive and concise datasets.
- Upload combined data onto digital platforms to enhance the company’s online presence.
Digital Platform Management:
- Update pricing, attributes, technical details, and images across various digital platforms to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is presented to customers.
CRM Data Management:
- Maintain and streamline customer data within the company’s CRM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in creating engaging content for various marketing platforms, including social media and email marketing.
Event and Show Preparation:
- Conduct research to identify suitable events and shows for the company’s participation.
- Assist in preparing materials and logistics for events, ensuring a seamless and impactful presence.
Customer Service and Purchasing Support:
- Provide background support for customer service activities, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist in purchasing activities, ensuring coordination with suppliers and maintaining accurate records.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Support the analysis of marketing data to derive insights and trends that can inform future marketing strategies.
Learning and Development:
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills in data analysis, marketing strategies, and industry trends.

Skillset and Experience:
- To be able to eventually be Proficient in data collection, interpretation, and analysis.
- Ability with training to gather and synthesize data from various sources to derive meaningful insights.
- To be able to with updating and managing content on digital platforms.
- Familiarity with tools and software used for digital content management.
- Comfortable with working with website and Digital platforms and to be able to navigate and update customer data accurately.
- Strong communication and writing skills for creating engaging content.
- Basic design skills and familiarity with content creation tools.
- Good interpersonal skills for addressing customer inquiries and issues.
- Record-keeping skills for maintaining accurate purchasing records.
- Critical thinking skills to analyse marketing data and contribute to strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to adapt to new digital tools and platforms.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and actively contributes to tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and challenges.
- Collaborative attitude for effective teamwork with the marketing and data analysis stakeholders.

Holidays – 28 days including Statutory – 1 days extra after 2 years service
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.
Training to be provided:
Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Data Technician, with training in how to:
- Identify the right data sources for your business to inform decision making.
- Collect, compile and cleanse data accurately and securely.
- Identify, anaylse and interpret data, trends and patterns.
- Produce dashboards and reports to aid visualization and comparison.
- Summarise and present the results of data analysis, making recommendations for business improvement.
- Store and archive data in line with data protection legislation.
