Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support technician with 10:10 Games Ltd, a Computer Games Studio based in Warrington. This is a full-time role based primarily on site in Warrington with some flexible working options when established.
Job Description:
The role will be to initially fill some of the day-to-day tasks of the IT department such as setting up new users, support for existing users equipment and applications, access management, vulnerability remediation, etc. Once established the person will get involved in all aspects of the IT systems including cloud services, networks and firewalls, authentication systems and so on.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Configuring of new Laptops and PCs and setups as needed.
- Support for users both in person and remote.
Administering existing IT systems. - Deployment and maintenance of software.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-B/9-5 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
3 A-Levels including maths preferable.
Skills Required:
- An interest in technology is essential
- Any experience in IT support or computers in general beneficial
- Good communication skills
Personal qualities:
- Good timekeeping
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility
Future prospects:
The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
