Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a IT Support Technician with EnablesIT, a computer support company based in Cranleigh.
Job Description:
The main purpose of the job is to assist the service delivery team in meeting service levels for all customer contracts by providing the initial logging and troubleshooting of incidents.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Demonstrate strong commitment to service ethics
- Responding to and resolving alerts, incidents and service requests with 1st line expertise within the service level agreement
- Providing accurate technical answers that are appropriately communicated to customers
- Keep users regularly informed of the progress in accordance with the service desk guidelines
- Manage customer expectations in accordance with SLA
- Understand and log all incidents and service requests from initial call to completion
- Understand and utilise proactive monitoring tool sets and deal with alerts appropriately
- As required liaise with 3rd party vendors managing them to provide effective resolutions for issues
- Escalate to senior technical resources/management as required before service levels breach
- As required, attend site to perform field engineering functions
- Proactively develop knowledge and skills specific to enablesIT customer environments, contributing to site documentation
- Develop the appropriate product and services knowledge, including passing relevant technical certifications as required by enablesIT

Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
