Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a IT Support Apprentice with Saepio Solutions Ltd, an Information Security Solutions Provider based in High Wycombe.

Job Description:

Join our dynamic IT team as an apprentice and kick-start your career in information technology. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and training opportunity in various aspects of IT support, cyber security, systems administration, and networking. At Saepio Solutions you will be exposed to lots of technologies with lots of opportunity to learn.

The role will involve developing a deep understanding of the daily tasks of an IT support Apprentice.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and software issues.
  • Assists in setup, maintenance, and monitoring of computer systems, IT security measures, and networks.
  • Learn to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Maintain the IT Equipment List database for new and updated equipment.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and IT trends through self-study and training programs.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding information security and data privacy.

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

  • A good understanding of IT and a willingness to learn.
  • Logical and creative thinking skills.

Training to be provided:

  • Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
  • Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure components.
  • Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
  • Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
  • Support the information systems needs for your business.
