Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice with Data Clinic Ltd, a to be responsible for Data Recovery from mobile phones, flash media, HDDs and SSDs based in Bury.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Performing data recovery from mobile phones/flash media and hard drives.
- Perform ‘emergency’ data recovery, weekend and out of office hours working as required.
- Maintaining and updating the database – data recovery.
- Managing sales calls and customer updates as necessary.
- Logistics Management – managing couriers, collections and shipments, packaging and filing, job preparation and scheduling.
- Maintaining and updating your technical knowledge.
- Research and development for new products/techniques/processes/skills.
- Effective case management.
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations.
- Complying with the Data Clinic Codes of Practice and Conduct For Forensic Services.
- Complying with Data Clinic HR policies and procedures.
- Review arrangements.
- Hardware and mechanical side of IT.
- !4. Unassembling devices and re assembling.
Skills:
- Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
