Job Description:
Estio Training is thrilled to offer a new opportunity for an IT Engineer Apprentice at Systech IT Solutions.
Role Summary:
Systech IT Solutions is looking for motivated, aspiring IT professionals who are eager to start their career as an IT Engineer. This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining IT systems, networks, and software within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Engineer Apprentice, you will:
- System Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation, management, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Infrastructure Management: Ensure the efficient running of IT infrastructure, including both physical and virtual components.
- Security Monitoring: Help in monitoring and maintaining IT security to protect against digital threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the senior IT engineers and other team members to deliver effective IT solutions and services.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An understanding of IT security principles (preferred but not required).

- Organised: Capable of managing time effectively and prioritising tasks.
- Good Communication: Able to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and precise approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

This role offers the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, contingent on performance.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
- Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
