Rubies’ is the world’s largest costume manufacturer and boasts a prestigious portfolio of major licenses including Warner Brothers, Star Wars, Marvel, and Hasbro. Working in the Ecommerce Department and reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, this role will provide expertise and administrative support across the department’s multi-channel sales platforms.

Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager, you will provide critical administrative, marketing, and merchandising support to the Company’s online sales channels both domestically and internationally. Such duties will include being a primary point of contact for item listings and associated administrative requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail and a methodical approach, ensuring consistency and quality across more than 2,000 SKUs in our online sales channels.

 

Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an Ecommerce Marketing Apprentice with Rubies Masquerade a Wholesale Manufacturer of Fancy Dress Outfits, based in Bristol.

 

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • First point of contact for administrative requests relating to item listing content on our Ecommerce channels, for example – additions, corrections, omissions etc.
  • Working with the Product Development/Brand and Marketing teams, create, modify & adapt existing product content, using market research and analysis, ensuring that listings are appropriate, approved and implemented in a timely manner and in accordance with any relevant product launch deadlines.
  • Ability to optimise content such as keywords, descriptions, and A+ content – prior knowledge or experience of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and digital content management is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Regularly review and optimise web content for both domestic and overseas markets, ensuring they are appropriate and fit-for-purpose. This will require research and cultural awareness of localised markets to ensure all content is appropriate.
  • Using productivity tools, including open-source AI, create and review product titles and descriptions for all relevant SKUs at a multi-marketplace level.
  • Using open-source AI tools, ensure that parameters, prompts, and setup is optimised to deliver translation or other refinements of language to appropriately harmonise web content for overseas markets.
  • Liaising with relevant teams across the business to assist with planning and deployment of marketing campaigns, particularly with regards to new channel or product launches.
  • Regularly review B2C marketplaces, ensuring that potential issues are resolved or escalated in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with strong time management skills and a demonstrable ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical approach.
  • Previous experience of ecommerce, marketing, digital content management, and/or product merchandising in a fast-paced B2C environments is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Previous experience of creative content management tools such as Adobe Creative suite, particularly Photoshop, is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Creativity and passion for the craft and relevant brands.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer and Certified Digital Marketing Professional by DMI, with training in how to:

  • Master the art of crafting compelling content tailored for diverse audiences and a variety of marketing channels, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in communication.
  • Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies.
  • Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.
  • Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Develop, understand, and apply marketing briefs and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand consistency.
