About the company:

Roadgrip Ltd undertakes a variety of specialist contracting activities in the UK and abroad including:

  • Line Marking/Airfield markings
  • Surface coatings, waterproofing primarily in the retail and car park sectors
  • Joint sealing, saw cutting
  • Concrete and asphalt repairs and specialist concrete surface protection systems
  • Grooving
  • Paint removal using hydro blasting and shot blasting
  • Runway Rubber removal
  • Formula1 line marking
  • Asphalt preservation

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who is able to bring this operation to life through our online presence – we currently have LinkedIn and Instagram being populated often. There are other opportunities to engage with new audiences and bring in new business.

We are lucky to work within the Highways, Retail, Airports and Motorsports sectors to name a few. Meaning there is plenty of individual markets to tailor your approach to and seek improvement.

Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice with RoadGrip, a specialist road marketing company based in Leighton Buzzard.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer enquiries, comments, and feedback, and respond in a timely manner, as well as engaging with relevant posts within the Services and Markets Networks as beneficial.
  • Analyse social media data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices and evolve with them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all social media platforms and liaise with the departments for upcoming content opportunities.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic and maintain conversions.
  • Oversee all SEO, Ads, Website Management and back-end management ensuring relevant pages are linked and visible.
  • Create and maintain a consistent, edgy tone throughout all Video, Photo and Copywrite and engage with responses.
  • Willing to travel to some of our exciting projects to capture the moment (video and Photo) and then tell the world about it!!
  • Drive new business.


5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

  • Skilled Videographer, Photographer and competent editor
  • Experience with Marketing software’s and implementation
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, Marketer or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confident with copywriting
  • Experience with social media management tools and SEO
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track social media performance
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to improve revenue streams through all existing platforms and channels
  • Monthly reporting of efforts and outcomes will be expected to the board of directors

The Digital Marketing Executive will be the internal powerhouse for all things Marketing.

Overseeing all of our channels, creating engaging and insightful posts and responding to comments and likes, following relevant companies etc. Proactively seeking new and innovative ways to bring the services we offer to life and attracting new and existing traffic (converting wherever you can!!).

We would like to see someone with Videography and Photography skills, but also Copywrite and Website SEO and Management. A well-rounded, fun individual who thinks outside of the box and who can lead us into a new realm of online presence.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer and Certified Digital Marketing Professional by DMI, with training in how to:

  • Master the art of crafting compelling content tailored for diverse audiences and a variety of marketing channels, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in communication.
  • Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies.
  • Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.
  • Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Develop, understand, and apply marketing briefs and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand consistency.
