Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketer with a small element of Studio Management for Greig & Stephenson Architects, an architecture and design practice based in Highbury & Islington, London.
We are looking for a motivated and responsible candidate who can grow the roll of Digital Marketer alongside taking on a small amount of Studio Management, both under guidance.
Our unique community focused design work helps to create thriving destinations in our towns and cities, however we have not yet properly engaged with creating more of a digital and social media presence for the practice. We are therefore looking for an autonomous and creative individual who would be keen to develop this side of our business under the supervision of the architectural team.
Alongside the digital marketing element of the role, we would look to develop the basics of studio management which should give a stronger understanding of the company ethos and project work, mixed with some simple day to day management tasks.
We are happy to blend a proportion of office and homeworking.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- Manage and develop our Instagram and LinkedIn profiles
- Help to create a ‘persona or personas’ for which we will be targeting our posts towards
- Develop a content calendar
- Develop content
- Schedule posts
- Interact – commenting on others posts under the supervision of the team
- Develop analytics and SEO
- Managing and updating the website (WordPress)
- Opportunity to develop Adobe Creative Suite skills
- Industry & competitor research
- Answer phone calls (we don’t get many!)
- Booking train tickets & hotels
- Ordering office supplies
- Computer set-up and IT Coordination with our IT department
- Organising social events for the office
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Strong understanding of social media platforms
Competency in Microsoft Office programmes preferred
An interest in design – creative thinking encouraged
Good spoken and written English
Confident in working independently, under direction from senior members of the team.
Good time keeping and organised
Passionate about the well-being of others
Friendly and attentive

Training to be provided:
The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.
Learners will receive technical training online. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Digital Marketer Standard with training in areas such as:
- Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
- Google Fundamentals/Analytics
- Content Marketing
- Principles of Coding
- Marketing Principles
- Digital Marketing Upskilling Toolbox
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
