Job Description:

Join our team as a Marketing Assistant Apprentice and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing channels. You’ll work alongside experienced marketers, support real campaigns, and complete a structured learning program that prepares you to become a confident Marketing Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to grow quickly, make an impact, and build a long-term career in marketing.

Role Summary:

The Marketing Assistant Apprentice is an entry-level role designed to provide practical experience while completing a formal apprenticeship. You will work under the guidance of senior marketing staff, contribute to live campaigns, and follow a structured internal training plan. After an initial 6-month foundation period, you’ll progress to managing your own internal marketing project, helping you transition into a Marketing Executive position within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice, you will:

  • Support content creation for blogs, emails, and websites
  • Help prepare and format marketing reports
  • Participate in marketing planning meetings
  • Follow an internal training program including video learning and presentations
  • Collaborate with senior marketers on client tasks and campaigns
  • Maintain a personal learning journal and complete assigned presentations
  • Work on college coursework as part of the formal apprenticeship
  • Manage a marketing project after 6 months with guidance from a mentor
  • Track progress and report outcomes of assigned tasks and projects

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.

Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail and creative thinking
  • Comfortable using computers and digital tools
  • Ability to work well in a team

Personal Qualities:

  • Proactive and enthusiastic
  • Positive attitude and growth mindset
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Passionate about marketing and digital media
  • Curious and self-motivated to learn
  • Able to handle constructive feedback and apply it
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and learnings to others

Other Information:

Optional Pension Scheme – We offer access to a pension plan if you’d like to opt in, though it’s not required.

Team Events & Socials – We regularly organise team nights out, social activities, and bonding opportunities with the wider group. These are a great chance to build friendships and feel part of the wider company culture.

Supportive Environment – You’ll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team that genuinely cares about your personal and professional development.

Career Growth – This role is built with progression in mind — you’ll have the opportunity to grow into a long-term career with increasing responsibility and recognition.

Training & Mentorship – Access to hands-on learning, mentorship from senior marketers, and structured support throughout your apprenticeship.

Future Prospects:

This apprenticeship is the first step in a clear and rewarding career path in marketing – not just a temporary role.

Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, you’ll transition into a permanent position as a Marketing Executive, taking on more ownership of campaigns and client-facing work.

From there, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into the following roles:

  • Marketing Consultant – delivering strategic marketing services to clients with more independence and accountability.
  • Senior Marketing Consultant – leading high-level projects, mentoring junior staff, and managing complex client relationships.
  • Lead Marketing Consultant – overseeing multiple accounts or service areas, setting direction for marketing campaigns, and contributing to overall marketing strategy across the business.
  • We are committed to nurturing talent and promoting from within — if you bring the right attitude, commitment, and creativity, you’ll have real opportunities to grow your career with us.
