Estio Training is thrilled to offer a new opportunity for an Information’s Communications Technician Apprentice.

Role Summary:

We’re on the lookout for an ICT Apprentice to join our expanding IT support team in Harrogate. This is your chance to get hands-on with real tech, learn from experienced pros, and build your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Your apprenticeship will be delivered through Estio, our apprenticeship provider, as you work towards a Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification.

As an IT Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:

As part of our ongoing expansion, the Stowe Family Law IT Team are looking to welcome an ICT Apprentice to join our growing support function. Based out of our new Harrogate IT office, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for technology to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and friendly working environment.

You’ll be mentored and supported by experienced professionals and play a hands-on role in delivering IT support across the business, from troubleshooting hardware to supporting telephony systems and assisting with national IT rollouts.

Main Roles and Responsibilities (Will include but are not limited to):

  • Working alongside the IT Helpdesk Technicians to support staff across the country by phone using remote tools.
  • Troubleshooting issues with laptops, desktops, printers, video conferencing equipment, routers, switches, etc.
  • Assisting with provisioning, setting up, and shipping IT equipment to new starters.
  • Supporting the business’s telephony systems and contributing to telephony-related projects.
  • Assisting with wider IT projects including IT security audits, Hardware rollouts, Software assessments and installations, Network installations and diagnostics, General IT security operations.
  • Participating in online training as part of the apprenticeship. each week.
  • Occasional travel to other company sites (primarily local, with no extended stays required
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technical skills and improve support processes.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Grade 4/5 or above in English & Maths GCSE

Skills Required & Personal Qualities:

  • A genuine interest in IT and problem-solving
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Confidence working with hardware and software
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn

Training to be provided:

Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

  • Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
