Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Support Technician with Hull City Council based in central Hull.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
- To ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor the Assyst Ticketing system to resolve calls at first point of contact.
- Receive phone calls from users requiring support.
- Remote support to customers (Troubleshooting).
- To interrogate Specific ICT systems and process a range of routine and sensitive information.
Qualifications:
- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required:
- Computer literate with the ability to use core MS Office products.
- Basic knowledge of ICT technology and terminology (i.e. an understanding industry standard device and the peripherals).
- Ability to adhere to a strict code of confidentiality.
- Must have the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Owning queries received and ensuring a right first-time approach to resolving them
- Clearly spoken with a good telephone manner.

- Interest in ICT.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good level of self-motivation, flexibility and organisational skills.
- Good ability to plan and prioritise own work and meet deadlines.
- Good Time management.
