Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Marketing Apprentice to join our marketing team. This hands-on role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a range of marketing functions with a particular focus on social media. You will support the planning and delivery of targeted campaigns; help manage online content and gain valuable insight into audience engagement. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you’ll learn how to build brand presence, analyse campaign effectiveness, and contribute to overall marketing goals. TruDomes, creators of stunning domes, from glamping, dining to yoga retreats, these domes are loved by customers worldwide.

No two days are the same, one moment you’ll be designing an eye-catching Instagram post, the next crafting an engaging email campaign or supporting a product launch. You’ll be supported every step of the way by our Marketing Manager and wider team, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment that will shape your career in marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice, you will:

Social Media & Campaign Support

  • Assist in managing and maintaining social media channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Help create engaging written, graphic and video content for campaigns
  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across digital and offline channel
  • Monitor and report on social media performance and engagement metrics
  • Contribute ideas for new content, trends, and ways to engage our target audiences

Marketing & Administration

  • Assist in drafting marketing materials such as blogs, email campaigns, and brochures
  • Help coordinate the production and distribution of marketing content
  • Support event planning, logistics and promotional activity
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners or suppliers as needed

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct basic research to support campaign planning and audience targeting
  • Assist in collecting and analysing data from marketing channels and campaigns
  • Support the evaluation of marketing activity to provide insights for improvement

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • Work effectively within the wider team to support cross-functional marketing projects
  • Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: GCSE Maths & English

Skills Required:

  • Understanding of the role of marketing in a business context
  • Basic awareness of social media platforms and their use in business
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Interest in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign planning
  • Willingness to learn and develop new digital tools and software

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer and Certified Digital Marketing Professional by DMI, with training in how to:

  • Master the art of crafting compelling content tailored for diverse audiences and a variety of marketing channels, ensuring sensitivity and effectiveness in communication.
  • Analyse and integrate information from the multi-channel marketing landscape to inform and optimise both short-term tactics and long-term strategies.
  • Implement secure, innovative solutions using a broad spectrum of digital tools and platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences while achieving marketing objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and analyses of multi-channel marketing activities, measuring success and providing actionable recommendations for enhancement.
  • Create and interpret insightful analytical dashboards utilising advanced digital tools, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Strategically plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns across an array of digital and traditional media platforms.
  • Develop, understand, and apply marketing briefs and plans to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand consistency.
