Estio Training is thrilled to offer a new opportunity for an IT Support Technician Apprentice with Apprico an IT Managed Service Provider based in Dartford, Kent.
Role Summary:
1st level IT support technician. s an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their IT systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and troubleshooting any technical issues. As an IT Support Technician Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their IT systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and troubleshooting any technical issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT, with plenty of opportunities for growth and development in the field of IT support and managed services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st IT support for clients via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and macOS systems.
- Install, configure, and support various IT systems, including hardware and software.
- Work on the ticketing system, logging and managing service requests and incidents.
- Monitor and maintain client systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and compliance.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, access rights, licenses, and email systems.
- Perform network administration tasks, including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and printer setup.
- Assist with printer and installations, setup, and upgrades.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and software (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
- The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Personal Qualities:
- Self-starter, motivated, punctual, ambitious.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a strong team player.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in IT support.
Future Prospects:
This role offers the potential for a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, contingent on performance.

- Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
- Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
- Support the information systems needs for your business.
