Job Description:
Estio Training is thrilled to offer a new opportunity for a L4 Data Analyst Apprentice at Trimming Shop 007 Ltd in Cheshunt.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
As a Data Analyst your responsibility will include but not limited to collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. You will be involved with managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data.
As a member of our team, you will be an active partner that contributes to the success of our day-to-day management of the products, performance, and online merchandising. A perfect candidate for our team will need to be detail-oriented, with marketing skills, extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of Ecommerce marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst Apprentice you will:
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Document and report the results of data analysis activities making recommendations to improve business.
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
- An ability to research subjects using your own initiative and implement/measure.
- Data Visualisation and Statistics.
- Data Analysis (Preferred coding experience using with Python or similar, but not essential).
- SQL and Data Modelling (Preferred).
- Data Architectures.
- Data Analysis Tools and Concepts Assessment.
