Job Description:

Role Summary:

To provide a high level of service to clients and colleagues requiring timely resolution to issues. Develop your skills and demonstrate your ability to take on a wider range of tasks within the support team.

Key Responsibilities:

As an IT Apprentice your main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Handling calls and emails from across the business and assist colleagues requiring assistance.
  • Visiting and working from different offices and locations.
  • Logging tickets with the external providers about hosting servers and VOIP system.
  • Update the team with issues on existing tickets.
  • Updating ‘knowledge base’ with new issues that occur.
  • Develop your knowledge and skills so you can handle a wider range of support tasks.
  • Windows Networking like Domain, DNS, DHCP servers and clients.
  • Network Management.
  • Office 365 Administration.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Grade 4/5 or above in English & Maths GCSE

Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:

  • Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
  • Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
  • Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
  • Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
  • Support the information systems needs for your business.
