View JobsUnlike a more advanced level apprenticeship, a Level 3 apprenticeship equivalent is two A Level passes. To be considered for a Level 3 apprenticeship, you will generally need to have completed a Level 2 apprenticeship or passed 5 GCSEs. There may be times you don’t even need a prior qualification, and could simply be sent on the course by your current employer.
This will depend entirely on the course that you study, but a Level 3 apprenticeship will always take a minimum of 12 months. Depending on the frequency of your study, they can even last as long as 2-4 years.
Level 3 apprenticeships are paid. You will earn a real wage for the duration of your programme, and the amount will depend on:
