Build the fundamentals that keep organisations running. Learn how devices connect, how networks function and how to maintain stable, secure infrastructure day-to-day.
You’ll develop practical skills in installation and configuration, performance monitoring, fault diagnosis, and user support, all backed by clear documentation, teamwork, and cyber-secure working.
Blending virtual labs, practical tasks, and real-workplace scenarios, you’ll gain the skills you need to ensure operational resilience and contribute to smoother technical workflows.

How you’ll study
Online monthly (block release): Structured to focus learning, with online live lectures and seminars delivered over monthly full-day blocks.
Time commitment
8 months on programme
2 days per month (six hours per day) in online live training sessions
4 hours guided self-study, per module, via our virtual learning platform
1 hour performance coaching session, every month
1 hour EPA preparation session
1 month in End Point Assessment
Off-the-job training (average four hours a week): Apprentices have dedicated learning time within their normal working hours to develop new skills directly linked to their apprenticeship. Training, mentoring, online learning and project work all count toward this time, and sit alongside their normal duties, not outside them.
