Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketer with Commercial Services, one of the largest, local authority owned, trading organisations based in West Malling Kent. The role will be working in the Recruitment Division.

Job Description:

The Recruitment Division is going through sustainable growth within its 3-year business plan, to increase its strategic partnerships and joint ventures by at least 1 a year.

With a new joint venture partnership shortly coming onboard, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing Apprentice who will help drive marketing campaigns for our recruitment brands.

This is an exciting, fast-paced role which that will focus on enhancing the digital footprint of the recruitment brands ensuring content is engaging, authentic and reaches the right target audiences, whilst aligning with business objectives.

As part of a growing marketing team, the role will be critical in helping drive up brand awareness to assist with new venture partnerships and to support our current partnerships. The right person for this role will have a digital mind with a creative flare and will be excited to support the Division’s multi-brand approach in the market and to support the growth of current and future partnerships.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

  • Supporting the marketing department with the design and creation of marketing collateral including flyers, website content, email marketing and social media content
  •  Supporting the Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns; covering both offline and online marketing
  • Collaborating with the Design and Content Executive on design, written content and web requirements and providing input on areas for improvement
  • Use Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and customer behaviours and run monthly reports
  • Actively working with the recruitment brands to understand their objectives and goals and learn how digital marketing could be implemented to support
  • Supporting the department with social media coverage and scheduling posts
  • Ensuring attention to detail on all materials and content created to alleviate errors
  • Liaise with print providers to ensure printed materials are printed and delivered within the deadline
  • Work with the department on all events and exhibitions
  • Attend and engage with all marketing training and personal development coaching sessions
  • Contributing to weekly brainstorming sessions and coming up with bold, original ideas

Skills Required:

  • Able to apply creativity and flexibility to generate new and innovative ideas to meet campaign objectives

  • Takes instruction but curious to know the reasons why things are done in a certain way and willing to challenge the norm if there is a better way

Training to be provided:

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive six weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated Skills Development Coach who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Digital Marketer Standard with training in areas such as:

  • Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
  • Principles of Coding
  • Marketing Principles
  • Digital Marketing Business Principles with E-Commerce
  • Video & Imaging Software

Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
